Outfit Post: Plaid all the Way

I had to share this beautiful shoot with you. It was a little more than a year ago, when I hand blonde long locks and lived in Hollywood. This just shows you how crazy busy my year was! I didn't even have time to share this with you. It was literally outside an old record store around my apartment and everything behind this photo shoot screamed Los Angeles. Speaking of Los Angeles, I really don't know when was the last time I wore those shoes! These my friends are the highest most comfortable shoes I've ever walked in. I miss everything about this shoot!

Outfit Post : Still Dreaming

I sometimes think that some intimate moments should be kept private but then again I feel like I want to share these special moments with my followers. August 14th, 2014 was not just a major life milestone it was simply a dream come true. I didn't only graduate with a Master's degree in Management and Leadership, I graduated with a degree called " Life". When I say life, I really mean it. I never really indulged in life's ups and downs until I moved to Los Angeles in 2012. It was not only a completion of a degree , it was more of gaining my complete independence and learning things about myself that I would never learn elsewhere. Flash back to the happiest day of my life and can't wait to attend my graduation event from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising this upcoming June.

Outfit Post: Center spread

If you've been following me on my social media accounts you may already know that I am officially a working woman with a real job and a real income ( Finally making some ka-ching!) . Although for many years I thought I would never find a fashion related  job in Saudi Arabia that met my career goals, I some how did! I also always thought that I would never want to work for someone, that I wanted to be my own boss and start my business. I found out that I actually have to have one in order to be one. I am now a merchandising coach for Sara Group. This company is based in Saudi Arabia and is the franchiser for a bunch of high-end designer stores ( Moschino, Etro, Salvatore Ferragamo and Escada sport). I know for a fact that not in a million years I would get this work opportunity anywhere in the world. I am the first Saudi female in the company with a management role. I have never been so excited to take this challenge to take over the Saudi fashion industry. I'm also so excited to share my journey with you. Oh yeah! I almost forgot. These photos were from my Marie Claire Kuwait center spread, hope you enjoy them!

Outfit Post: Stripes & Sunshine

I have to take a deep breath before writing anything down, okay I got this " deep breath".
This year has probably been the craziest year of all years ( Explains why I was MIA). I lived in 5 different homes in less than a year. I managed to move my wide range of clothes, my extensive shoe collection , my books (Yes, I own books) and myself from Los Angeles to the land of sand" Saudi Arabia". I left Lulu (my car) , my vintage flower vases, my Ikea couch, my independence (no biggie) and the closest people to my heart.  I met the coolest most inspiring people , I never missed a farmer's market and got 2 awesome degrees. I also lived on 3 hours of sleep, cried my eyes out on the wheel of my car and had to drive myself to the emergency room at 4 a.m numerous times . In the end of the day, I'm alive, I'm healthy and I feel good. I just knew from the day I set foot in Los Angeles, that I was about to go into a dream and one day reality would wake me up.
