Outfit Post: DVF's Journey of a Dress

I've been nagging my friends for a while to see what all the hype was about. Boy! it was worth the hype. So the insulation is basically 40 years of Diane von Furestenberg's iconic wrap dresses that she launched in1974. Imagine going through 200 mannequins dressed in beautiful vibrant designs. All through our visit, my friend and I were trying to guess when each dress was made, most of our guesses were right but there were many that were wrong. That by itself truly shows how timeless her dresses are.
I really hope I was able to show you a glimpse of what the exhibit looked like. If you are ever around the Los Angeles area, make sure the visit the exhibit. It's up until April in LACMA on Wilshire.

Outfit Post: Rise & Shine

Since I've moved to Los Angeles, my love and passion for the farmer's markets grew so much. I love the feeling I get when I know that each and every dollar I spend goes to local farmers and vendors. I can't say that I'm 100% organic but I'm sorta getting there. It's just so refreshing to wake up the next morning and making parfait out fresh berries while admiring the perfection of freshly cut baby pink roses!
