Kenneth Cole is celebrating his label’s 30th birthday by introducing its first luxury line this July, The Kenneth Cole Collection, which presents men’s and women’s pieces with a refined touch. “We’re in the process of elevating and returning to certain roots of the company and elements of its heritage,” Kenneth Cole told WWD. Pieces will range in price from $400 for dresses up to $900 for outerwear.
To celebrate her first ten years in the fashion industry Alice Temperley has launched a collection of her utmost and favorite dress designs to be sold exclusively at luxury online boutique, Avenue32. Including both red carpet worthy classics and day dresses like the Mini Palina and long sleeved Trina styles, the ‘best of’ collection is extraordinary for its immutability. Temperely’s perfect blend of boho and chic continues to inspire the same devotion. Each of the pieces in the collection stands up today as desirable and wearable, without the hint of 20 seasons past. Alice herself says the collection holds a great amount of sentimental value for her: "All of them [the dresses] bring back strong memories, they are all from different periods of Temperley and my career. It is wonderful to look back and I can't believe we have already celebrated 10 years of Temperley. On one hand it seems like a lifetime and on the other just like the beginning.”

The collection comes with a 15-piece capsule collection inspired by the stunning supermodel as well as her fellow Guess Girls, styled the 30th Anniversary Collection. It’s a true return to the Guess roots with T-shirts covered in Anna Nicole Smith’s face, a sheer leopard-print blouse, jeans with a cut-off waistband and a black-and-white gingham top worn originally worn by Eva Herzigova. And brilliantly, the three-zipper Marilyn jeans that first launched the brand are up for grabs once again.

In this sneak-peek of the campaign, we see the beautiful Marion Cotillard ambassador and Oscar- winner clutching on to the Lady Dior bag in crocodile and raffia. Dior chose the beautiful scenery of the Oscar Niemeyer-designed Communist Party HQ in Paris to shoot their Lady Dior bag campaign, due for release next month. The elaborate metallic slatted ceiling provides the backdrop for the campaign. The campaign was shot by Peter Lindbergh and styled by New Yorker Patti Wilson, who has earned her serious fashion stripes styling for Italian Vogue, I-D, Numero.
H&M is rumored to be launching its first luxury brand, although nothing has been confirmed yet. "We are constantly looking at new ideas; it's a natural part of our work. However, there is nothing new that we can talk about for the moment," H&M spokeswoman Charlotta Nemlin told WWD.
The brand has experimented in the luxury market before, collaborating with labels including Lanvin, Versace and Marni, as well as launching its sustainable red carpet range - entitled the Exclusive Glamour Conscious Collection - which will land in stores on April 12. We hope so; there is nothing more that we want then a constant lavishing line rather than waiting on an endless queue at 6am!
Creators of The Carrie Diaries have released the first publicity shot of AnnaSophia Robb as the young Bradshaw in the new Sex and the City prequel series. Notice the curly and ruffled ‘do, the glitter, the puffball skirt, the green leopard-print cardigan, the rainbow belt and particularly the lipstick-red high heels. The unlikely harmony of elements that might leave a less bold dresser thinking ‘clash!’ is all Bradshaw. We can’t wait till the release of The Carrie Diaries, the outfits, the locations, and not to mention the spicy storyline.
